raymon, July 5, 2002 at 3:37:06 AM CEST Profile Charlotte Brandrick I grew up in Medstead, a small town of two hundred located about sixty miles north of North Battleford. My parents are both public school teachers so maybe teaching is in my blood somewhere. My school had a small high school drama club that put on one dinner theatre every year. I couldn’t wait to be old enough to try out. Every year I looked forward to the play. All props and costumes were donated by the community and we had a ball. The stage was really just a bunch of tables clamped together. It was a humble theatre beginning but I fell in love with it right away. I based my whole decision to come to the U of S on an “Arts and Science Drama Program” pamphlet I found. I can’t believe I’m already in my last year here. The first years went so fast. The Drama Program has been the best years I have so far experienced. This summer I am having a wonderful experience acting at the Barn Playhouse in Where the Lilacs Bloom and Animal Farm. After University I’m hoping to find a job in my field and continue in the world of Drama. |
