I coming from . . . an adventurous childhood and teen life where my truest friend was play. Booted outside with my brothers and sisters we made bush tribes in our large blackberry bush hacking out paths. We explored abandoned houses and made snail families. My first ‘big’ play was An End of Sorrow at the Surrey Arts Centre. Loved it and took Drama throughout high school.

I’m coming from . . . a constant search for life’s meaning/purpose. I spent six years believing it is found in Psychology or in Religion and have also searched for it throught acting. I have discovered that the search is not restricted or found solely in one of these disciplines but may be expressed through all of them (and many other places). What I did learn is it must always begin in my spirit and my heart. Then it can be expressed through whichever discipline I find myself being.

I am entering . . . Animal Farm with the Barn Playhouse and have been youth amateur directing for the past two years.

I am going . . . I am a third year Drama major at the U of S. I will take all the value I can from the past with me. I am in singing lessons and piano lessons and my dream is to be involved in a theatre company. Then, someday, once I have experienced and gained much wisdom and learned much more I will teach . . . one day . .

I am so excited to have fun and ignite a passion for acting with the summer campers of 2002.
